Welcome to Month 2 of the book club! This month we are going to be reading The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
As someone who spent the first 20ish years of my life hating to wake up any earlier than was absolutely necessary, this is the type of book that I would have told you I would never read. But after reading glowing reviews about this book from some of the most successful people in the world, I gave in an picked up a copy.
It did not disappoint!
The author, Hal Elrod, wrote this book to help readers improves their lives, and themselves “not to suggest that there is anything is wrong with us or our lives, but as human beings we were born with the innate desire and drive to continuously grow and improve.” He claims that it is the “ultimate game changer” for high achievers, and that it will allow you to “attain the exclusive next level and take your personal and professional success far beyond what you’ve achieved in the past.
The advice in this book comes from Hal’s personal experience. In the beginning of the book you will learn about Hal and his life. He has experienced everything from extreme success at an early age, to a near death experience, and everything in between. Hal has had his businesses succeed at extraordinary levels, and he has had them fall apart. In this book you will learn from all his experiences, as well as learn the method he has used to turn every downturn into a success.
According to the introduction to the book, it will help you achieve greater success in the following areas of your life:

If you are not a morning person, this book will challenge you to change the way you look at starting your day. If you already a morning person, this book will strengthen the way you use your mornings. - Week 4: Chapters 9-10 and Conclusion
Starting this month I will be sending our my weekly summary towards the end of the week so you have an opportunity to do the reading during the week before you get the summary and action items.
